Therapy is a deeply personal and transformative journey that requires a safe, supportive environment to process many of life’s complex and challenging circumstances.

Seeking Counseling

As a therapist, I desire to provide support and encouragement as you work towards reaching your therapeutic goals. I have 30 years of experience in the counseling field, working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families.

An emphasis of my training has been on facilitating recovery from emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, as well as from other traumatic events. I also offer faith-based counseling for those who desire to approach the counseling experience from this perspective.

While I maintain a passion for mental health and support for children, I no longer see children in person for play therapy. I am passionately invested in training and equipping the next generation of play therapists. Parent coaching is available for parents who need support (see Parent Coaching page).

I am currently accepting telehealth clients who live in Minnesota, Texas, and South Carolina.
