With over 30 years as a child therapist — and as co-creator of the Somatic Experiential Play Therapy (SEPT) model — I offer supervision that goes beyond case consultation.
Supervision is where you:
• Deepen your fluency in tracking metaphorical processes in play
• Strengthen your ability to support nervous system dynamics in real time
• Cultivate conscious awareness of your own somatic presence
Two supervision tracks are available, depending on your level of SEPT experience.
Course 1
Introduction Track
3-Month Foundational Experience
Designed for therapists who are new to SEPT or
exploring whether the model fits their work.
This group is experiential and discussion-based.
Participants are invited to bring case material and
begin applying SEPT principles in real time with
collaborative feedback in a supportive learning environment.
Format
- 3 months
- One 3-hour group session per month (Zoom)
- 1 hour SEPT-specific CE + 2 hours group supervision each session
- Total: 6 supervision hours + 3 CE hours
- Small, intentional cohort to allow meaningful case consultation

Course 2
Clinical Excellence & Certification Track
9-Month Immersive Supervision Experience
Required supervision component for SEPT Certification.
Designed for clinicians with foundational SEPT training who are ready to deepen mastery.
This is where practice becomes mastery.
Each session includes structured case presentation time, reflective discussion, and direct supervisory feedback. Participants rotate through consultation to ensure depth of learning and meaningful engagement throughout the cohort.
Format
- 9-month commitment
- One 3-hour group session per month (virtual)
- 27 total hours of advanced supervision
- Limited cohort size to support in-depth feedback and live supervision experiences

- One live supervision experience
- Optional real-time in-session guidance

Enrollment is intentionally limited to preserve the depth and integrity of supervision.
If you are ready to pursue SEPT Certification and deepen your clinical mastery, this track provides the required supervision pathway.
Course 3
Individual Supervision
Available as a stand-alone option or alongside either track.
Individual supervision allows for deeper exploration of
complex cases, self-of-the-therapist dynamics, and
integration of SEPT principles across diverse clinical settings.
Many clinicians choose ongoing supervision for continuity —
especially when working toward:
• Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credentialing
• SEPT Certification
• LPC/LPCC licensure in Minnesota
